Darren Aronofsky's THE WRESTLER

I bow my head in respect and amazement. Darren Aronofsky (director of such films as "Requiem for a Dream" and "π") has done a great job on his new effort called "The Wrestler". Absolutely heartbreaking and touching story of the wrestler and his stuggles with passed glory and trying to re-establish a relationship with his daughter. Marvellous performance by Mickey Rourke, real tour-de-force. No wonder Rourke has received The Academy Award for Best Actor nomination for his performance. I keep my fingers crossed Mr.Rourke.

SIX FEET UNDER

So once again I am hooked on another great TV Show. This time it's a wonderful, absolutely amazing show called SIX FEET UNDER. The story of a family which runs a funeral house. Brilliant plot, great perfomrnaces, inspiring cinematography and... the character of Nate Fisher. Damn he's handsome. However strange it may sound but if only I was a woman...haha.

And each year when I think Christmas time cannot get sadder I'm proved to be wrong and this year's Christmas Day is the saddest of them all. Without even leaving my room I'm trying to force myself to feel the magic of Yule. I've dusted off some records I haven't been listening to for ages. They improve my mood. They gently rock my worried mind. This mood of mine doesn't surpise me, I've always been way too emotional for this ugly world and on days like this, I pay the price for being ridiculously hyper-emotional, hyper-sensitive and a bit pathetic as well. Guess I'm only dreaming about this time to be finished and for an ordinary, grey, colourless days to take over again. "when the heartbeat slows, when the silence grows". I miss You...
